North - South Series Set

Palm Desert pitcher-infielder Brooks Kriske was named the most outstanding player in the North-South Series this weekend at San Diego State. Kriske is a USC commit. The South defeated the North, 5-1, on Sunday to complete a three-game sweep. Infielder Dallas Bacon of Newhall Hart was selected the most outstanding player for the South team.

Pitcher Bowdien Derby from Pasadena La Salle threw four shutout innings to help the South defeat the North, 7-0, in the second game of the North-South Series at San Diego State. Dallas Bacon from Newhall Hart had two hits and two RBIs. Cody Ramer from Simi Valley had two hits and two RBIs.


The California Baseball Coaches' Assn. North-South Series is set for Saturday and Sunday at San Diego State.
